We in New Mexico always look forward to the arrival of the sandhillcranes, who grace us yearly with their presence. And of course, Balloons, Balloons, and more Balloons. Vicki’s art does not include representations of balloons or buffaloes, but feel free to snap selfies with the scrumptious cranes on her mural, along with all the other avian friends of the cranes.

September will include a continuation of the paper dolls exhibit for those who missed last month. Also a chance to see Vicki’s newest summer creations. Like Peewee’s Playhouse, the usual characters should be there like Richard with his magic word dice, and Bubbles the dancing dog.

Our end of the year sale of origami tree ornaments was quite successful with a donation for thousands of meals to Roadrunner Food bank. Thank you Albuquerque for your love of art and your fellow citizens. Next year a different ornament and a different mission.

Andrew is designing and painting the multi wall mural! Plot Duckies is creating a QR code, stories, and website so visitors can scan the code and hear stories about and sounds of birds represented in the mural. Our party/fundraiser for the mural will include various vendors, and a chance to test our QR code (bring your smart phone and test it out!)
